Where is it?
The site is situated in the region of Aragon in northern Spain between Zaragoza and Lleida. It's five hours from Pau (France) via the Somport. The nearest small towns are
Castejon de Monegros (12km) and
Sariñena (19km), from both directions the last 10km is on gravel roads.
The nearest airport is Zaragoza and Ryanair operate from there. Just over an hours drive (via toll road - 4 euros) to Castejon de Monegros. Other options are:
- Reus is 2.5 hours drive to Castejon de Monegros, many UK regional flights plus Germany and Holland
- Barcelona 3.5 hours drive to Castejon de Monegros, flights from most major international airports
- Pamplona 3.5 hours from Castejon de Monegros, flights from many Spanish airports
- Madrid 4.5 hours drive to Castejon de Monegros
- Bilbao 5 hours drive to Castejon de Monegros
